Albany aims to be a caring, affirming Church and to offer a warm welcome to everyone it comes into contact with. We believe that all people are uniquely made in the image of God, and we aim to live this out in the Church and in our community.
'Everyone is welcome' at our Communion table. We use gluten-free bread and non-alcoholic wine.
Albany is situated in the St Thomas Green area of Haverfordwest; there is ample parking on St Thomas Green itself.
Albany is regarded as the mother church of non-conformity in Pembrokeshire, with a history dating back to 1638. We believe that we are the oldest continually-worshipping non-conformist church in Wales. As a Local Ecumenical Partnership, formed in 1990, we honour both our United Reformed and Methodist traditions.
Albany Church feels blessed in recent times and is a growing fellowship exploring new forms of worship. Some of our worship remains traditional in nature but we have also embraced new forms such as Cafe Church. We love learning new hymns and you will find a wide mix of both traditional and more modern hymns and songs.
We meet weekly on a Sunday morning at 11.ooam and we will be delighted if you would like to join us.
Once a month, we have a Communion Service on a Wednesday Morning at 10.30am
All our services are also available via Zoom; the Meeting ID is: 491 081 2259 and the Passcode: MethUrc
Please contact Rev Hugh-John on 07899-783807 or email him at hughjohn.wilson@methodistwales.org.uk for any further information.
