A little bit about us and what we believe.

About Us
Find out a little bit about who we are...
a bit about what we believe...
a bit about the history of the Church...
a bit about our vision of the future...
and even a bit about our minister!!!
Albany Church has a continuous history reaching back to 1638.
The group of Quakers and Dissenters who were to form the Green Meeting started a heritage that has been passed on to the present day congregation.

In 1990 the, by then, Albany United Reformed Church entered into a local ecumenical partnership with Haverfordwest Methodist Church which had been sharing the building since 1985.
United Reformed and Methodist.
Albany Church honours its position as a fellowship within both the South West Wales Methodist Circuit and the United Reformed Church, National Synod of Wales.

What we believe.
We believe in a loving God, who we experience as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is gracious and calls all people into a loving relationship with Him
We believe that we are called to worship God and serve Him in the community.

Follow the links below to find out a little bit more about the two denominations and what we believe
We relate more locally to the South West Wales Methodist Circuit, The Wales Synod Cymru of the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church, National Synod of Wales. For information on these bodies please follow the links below.

Our mission statement is 'To worship God and to serve the community'.

We appreciate that we are custodians of an important building in Welsh non-conformist history but believe that the church is first and foremost about the people and not the building.

We do though hope to use the building to fulfil our mission statement objectives.
